Digital-based governance has become a fundamental strategy in strengthening government administration and improving public accountability in the era of digital transformation. Governments increasingly adopt digital technologies to improve transparency, efficiency, and responsiveness in policy implementation and public service delivery. Digital governance enables government institutions to integrate administrative systems, simplify bureaucratic procedures, and enhance communication between government agencies and citizens. This study aims to analyze the role of digital governance in strengthening good governance practices and identify factors that influence its successful implementation in public administration. The research applies a qualitative descriptive approach using literature review and policy analysis related to digital governance and administrative reform. The findings indicate that digital governance contributes significantly to improving transparency, accountability, and administrative efficiency. However, several challenges remain, including technological infrastructure disparities, limited digital competence among public officials, and institutional readiness in adopting digital governance frameworks. Strengthening digital capacity, improving institutional coordination, and developing sustainable digital governance policies are crucial strategies to achieve effective and accountable governance.
