The Effectiveness of SIPD Implementation in the Financial Verification Process at the Regional Secretariat of Katingan Regency

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) in the financial verification process at the Regional Secretariat of Katingan Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that SIPD plays a significant role in improving administrative efficiency, data accuracy, as well as the transparency and accountability of regional financial management. However, several technical challenges were identified, including limited technological infrastructure, uneven human resource competencies, and SIPD features that are not yet fully optimized. These obstacles have led to delays in the verification process and reduced overall system efficiency. The study recommends enhancing network infrastructure, providing adequate hardware, conducting intensive training for employees, and developing SIPD features to better support the financial verification process. With these measures, SIPD is expected to be further optimized as a key instrument in supporting the principles of good governance within regional government administration.
